Well the inaugural season of the Reading Reign has come to an end, and a very positive end it was! On March the 10th, we spend the day in Woodbridge, Virginia playing in the recreational division championships. The format was very different in that we played two games (there are only three teams in this division).
The games were based on a point system.
You had to play hard the entire game.
You got one point for every period won by goals, and two points for winning the game.
If there was a tie, each team got half of the points.
The first game we played we go 2 goals in the first, 2 in the second, and the other team got 1 in the third.
So we came out with 4 points.
The second game we got 1 in the first, 1 in the second, and no one scored in the third, so we went away with 4.5 points in that game!
And of course won the championships!
We have an awesome team with a goalie with a 96% save average!!!!!
