So as August comes around...we find ourselves vacation and preparing for school.  We vacationed in Ocean City, NJ.  We had great weather and good times...we walked the boardwalk, did loads of rides, ate seafood, played in the sand, buggy boarded, and of course did the surrey bikes!  These pictures are just from my iphone...I have loads more on my actual camera....

The Funeral

Today was one of the hardest days of my life!  I am mentally and physically exhausted.  Today my brother in law, Chris, was buried.  He was such a sweet, kind, and loving person and will be missed very much!  Love ya!

Reign 2011-2012 Season

Well the inaugural season of the Reading Reign has come to an end, and a very positive end it was! On March the 10th, we spend the day in Woodbridge, Virginia playing in the recreational division championships. The format was very different in that we played two games (there are only three teams in this division).  The games were based on a point system.  You had to play hard the entire game.  You got one point for every period won by goals, and two points for winning the game.  If there was a tie, each team got half of the points.  The first game we played we go 2 goals in the first, 2 in the second, and the other team got 1 in the third.  So we came out with 4 points.  The second game we got 1 in the first, 1 in the second, and no one scored in the third, so we went away with 4.5 points in that game!  And of course won the championships!  We have an awesome team with a goalie with a 96% save average!!!!!  Way to go Amber!!!

New Puppy

Three weeks ago we picked up our new puppy, Sheba.  She was one of 12 and the only one that was all white with black spots.  Her mom is a black lab/German Shepard mix.  We are not sure what her dad is..we were told a "big brown dog".  Sheba and Joci are getting along great.  At first Sheba tried to feed off of Joci and Joci just looked at her like what are you doing??  Sheba is still potty training and getting us up twice at night....

December 2nd...

Today is Friday December 2nd, started working on my Christmas Journal/Scrapbook...looking forward to a busy season!  My mother in law is still in teh hospital, looking to come home soon I hope!  My father's cellulitis is getting better, but he is a bear when he is ill, and I just fell ill with a cough and sore throat...thought it was strep, but was testing and i am cleared, but I was supposed to go to MD for two hockey games this weekend, but I am not since I am feeling ill..;(......

Mid-November..

I have to agree with my friend, Michelle, I am very thankful for my friends and family.  Yesterday I was ale to hang out with my in laws and my Grizzlies friends.  Over the last 10 months, my life has turned topsy turby, but I have to say that each one of my family and friends has been there for both Dave and I and we are stronger for it!
