April 2010...

Well this week was/is spring break for me at UWM...now this weekend I need to focus and start really working hard...hockey season is over ;(, but in a way it will be good for me to look forward to the end of this semester and get things done..then I have to look at the future..what should I be doing my dissertation on? Thinking about looking at curriculums and how pain is taught? What about pain and how it effects different cultures? Work related pain....what it is like for people with work related back injuries returning to their previous jobs...I not only need to think about the actual dissertation, but I also need to consider how I am going to obtain my subject population! So what do you think?????

I do look forward to next month...David will be in his last year as a cub scout..they are working on voting for a patrol name...the three they are voting on is The Raptor Patrol, The Stealth Patrol, and The Cyclone Patrol...what is your fav?

April also brings forth Easter, I will be in Kansas City for a conference with my PhD cohort!!! and I have several parties including my end of year Flames party on April 16th!!

Here we are the 2009-2010 Runner-up...we had our championship game today and we lost 3-0. We had a great time and I am so proud of our team!!!

So as we went out to find a new chair for my office, we ended up buying new furniture for our living room....pictured above is the new stuff and the color is the same..burgundy!!! We are happy, so this weekend we are cleaning the living room an Dave will steam clean the living room too...the furniture comes Tuesday!!!!

What is next....

The week started out grand and we end on the rainy side...had a great weekend....play well...helped in 2 shutouts...paid off my car....almost finished furnishing my office (need a chair)...now today I have a meeting with my advisor and need to figure out what I am doing for my dissertation and think about choosing my major professor...by April 15th...is something else due on April 15th?
